Born and raised in a small Sicilian town, from this island I took the roots and the related turmoil: a unique fusion which permeates my photography vision. Since the beginning of my photographic practice, the human element has been fundamental in my images. 

I am a commercial/portrait photographer constantly interested in what concerns identity, relationship between individuals and individuals within society. After several years as commercial photographer, I made the move to London, where I felt the transition to an artistic and deeper approach to photography. So I have got an MA in Photography Arts at the University of Westminster. Four years later, I embarked on a trip to Amsterdam, where I currently reside. I regularly travel for assignments, working between Amsterdam, London, Milano and Siracusa.

Photography allows me to engage with the representation and performance of identity through the lens of the cinematic stile and experience of living, creating images as a storyteller.

I was told I have a remarkable ability to build trust and respect with my subjects. By playing with lights, I love to discover hidden spaces behind our masks.
